At Hedlow Retreat you can do as little or as much as you would like! Enjoy your time without even leaving the property, or use us as a base to explore the local surrounds of Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast. Canoe, bush walk, gather around the fire pit….all are included in your accommodation price. Unfortunately Hedlow Retreat is not open for day visits.
Bush Walking
Explore a selection of walking trails in the nearby National Parks and Hedlow Creek Reserve. Ask for a walking trail map on check-in.
Canoeing
What better way to explore Hedlow Creek than by canoe? There’s over 9km of this beautiful, freshwater creek to discover.
Fishing
BYO rods to fish Hedlow Creek year round for native fish such as Spangled Perch and crustaceans. Barramundi are seasonal.
Campfire
Gather around our three communal fire pits with your favourite people. You’ll find a stock of prepared firewood for your use at each location.
Sport Activities
You’re welcome to make use of our communal cricket set and footballs. There’s plenty of open space at the retreat to enjoy.
Star Gazing
